This tour begins at 7:30am at the hotel at Isabela; with the preparation of a boxed lunch, consisting of 2 sandwiches, fruit, and a drink for each person. Passengers should prepare their sandwiches with options such as: Tuna, Cheese, Cucumber, Tomato, Butter, Marmalade and Sauces, and also take with them at least 1 liter of water per person for the walk of about 6 hours and covering a total of 18 kilometers.

Having completed the preparation of the Box Lunch, at approximately 8:00am the tour begins with approximately 40 minutes by transport provided by the operator until the beginning of the national park, where they will start the walk. During the first 2 kilometers it is possible to experience a light rain and a varying degree of mud on the track. From the lookout, the magnitude of the crater of Sierra Negra Volcano can be appreciated.

Continuing the tour, and within 7 kilometers, the climate will be drier and you will be walking on volcanic rock up to Volcan Chico, where the lunch will be taken at an authorized picnic area, while we see the magical landscape of the coast of Isabela. On a clear and sunny day it is possible to see Santiago Island, Rabida and Fernandina.

From this point we will return by the same route (9 kilometers) to the entrance of the national park for a total of 18 kilometers round trip. Here the shuttle will be waiting to take us to respective hotels.

It will be necessary for passengers to use hiking boots or shoes that allow them to perform the walk comfortably, a cap, sun block - which must constantly be applied, even though the sky may be cloudy, a jacket or windbreaker andsunglasses. (no sandals, long dresses and documents or money that can be damaged).

Please bring your camera because you’re sure to have special memories.
