Travel through scenic rolling landscape to the mighty River Murray at Mannum where you’ll board the majestic Proud Mary built in the style of the historic paddle steamers for a cruise along Australia’s longest river including a delicious buffet lunch and an entertaining and informative commentary from the Skipper.

• As you travel to the region, learn about the history and importance of paddle steamers for Adelaide.

• Mannum - birthplace of the River Murray paddle steamers.

• Cruise the Murray River on either the Proud Mary Riverboat or the Captain Proud Paddle Wheeler with a coffee or tea on boarding the boat and an extensive buffet lunch. Cruise past soaring cliffs, ancient river red gums, green willows and lose count of all the birdlife.

• Scenic lookout and free time in Mannum to visit the 100 year old PS Marion paddle steamer.

• Scenic drive through Torrens Valley including Palmer and Tunkillo.

• Return to Adelaide via Melba’s Chocolate Factory at Woodside.

Participant restrictions

Any child under the minimum child age will travel free of charge and they will have to sit on their parents lap, if you prefer that the child has their own seat then you will have to pay the child fare.

Policies

Guest must check in at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

There is a 4 passenger minimum for the tour to operate. If the minimum is not met the tour may be cancelled and guest will be refunded in full.

Guests must call 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure to confirm tour.
