The city is set among rolling hills, and steeped in mystery. The Governor's Palace, The Pyramid of the Soothsayer and the Nun’s Quadrangle are just some of the buildings that will capture your imagination!
At night, a feast for your eyes and ears await you at the Light and Sound show. The venue is the Nunnery Quadrangle and, as you sit there under the stars, you'll listen to the stories and legends related to the rise and fall of Uxmal while the temples and pyramids of the ancient city are revealed in all their glory.
After the spectacle, you will enjoy a delicious dinner served at the hotel before you turning in for the night, in an absolute peaceful atmosphere under the night of the Maya.
Overnight at the Hacienda Uxmal. On your second day, after breakfast you will visit the pre-Hispanic city of Uxmal with our specialized tour guide who will take you to explore its magnificent temples. Uxmal has remarkable friezes and architectural details.
Relax in the hotel during the afternoon. Enjoy our pool, visit the Old Hacienda or take an optional tour to Kabah, a 20 minute drive from Uxmal. Famous for its Palace dedicated to the masks of the rain god Chaac, Kabah is a most for the enthusiast in Mayan Archeology.
